The Village of Kingston is located approximately half way between Halifax and Yarmouth, making Kingston an ideal location from which to take day trips. Kingston is steeped in history, settled by United Empire Loyalists in the 1790's. It is surrounded by rich farmland and fruit orchards and was once one of the largest apple producing centers in Nova Scotia.

Centennial Park bandstand across from the Kingston Arena has occasional concerts during the summer months
